Can encrypted files be compressed without losing the encryption? If so, what is the method for doing so?

I want to compress my encrypted files without loosing encryption or any kind of file loss.

Dear Customer,

The already encrypted files can be compressed by using a compression tool. But this method might not reduce the file size significantly because encrypted files often appear as random data, which is less compressible.

generally, user compress the files using standard tools and encrypt it to avoid data loss.

Yes, encrypted files can be compressed without losing encryption. Just use a tool like WinRAR or 7-Zip to compress the file after encryption. However, the compression might not reduce the size much since encrypted files are already quite compact.

Yes, you can compress the encryption files without losing the encryption. There are many third-party tools available to compress.

However, it's advisable to compress the file first before encrypting. Encryption often scrambles the data, making it appear random and thus less compressible.
