SfPyramidChart Legend issue

Hello, first of all thanks for the great work. I have three issues when test on iOS.



1. Legend of Pyramid Chart not showing properly when using SQLite Database.

2. ToggleSeriesVisibility of Legend not working on Pie Chart and Pyramid Chart.

3. Binding FontSize of Data Label on Pyramid Chart not working.



Environment:

macOS Sonoma 14.5

Visual Studio Code 1.91.0

.NET 8

Thank you for reaching out.

Regarding, .NET MAUI SfCircular and SfPyramid doesn't have Legend Toggle Support. We have already created the feature request and add it to in our request list. You can status or progress of the support in the following feedback link.

Feedback: Provide Legend Toggle Support in .NET MAUI Charts

We will prioritize the features in every release based on the demands, and we do not have an immediate plan to implement this since we committed to already planned work. So, this feature will be available for any of our upcoming releases.

 

Please cast your vote to make it count, and if you have any more specifications or suggestions for the feature request, you can add them as a comment in the feedback portal.

 
Regarding the issue of legend rendering and FontSize of DataLabel not updating dynamically. We have analyzed your provided sample. We can be able to replicate the issue. We need time to validate the issue with our source from our end. We will validate the issue and provide further details within two business days (11/07/2024).

Thank you for your update.

Regarding the issue with the Legend not being created while adding data dynamically to the SfPyramidChart, we consider this a bug. Additionally, concerning the binding of the font size of the data label not updating dynamically, our development team is currently validating this case. After the validation process, we will update the status and provide bug report details within two business days (15/07/2024).

After validating the reported issue, we have identified it as a bug that Font size of data labels not dynamically updated in Pyramid charts. We have created a bug report for this issue, and you can track its status and progress in the following feedback portal link.

The fix will be available in the upcoming weekly NuGet release on July 30th, 2024.

 

Disclaimer: Inclusion of this solution in the weekly release may change due to other factors including but not limited to QA checks and works reprioritization.

 

Currently, we are in the process of validating the legend, which does not add dynamically even segments, and will provide you with an update within two business days (18 July 2024).

The fix for the reported issue of Binding Font Size of Data Label on Pyramid Chart not working dynamically, has been included in our latest weekly NuGet release, version 26.2.7 which is available for download ( https://www.nuget.org/).


NuGet Version: 26.2.7


Root Cause:  Styles are not updating due to a re-layout issue with the chart.

Thank you for your support.

I have tested font size binding to slider and it works. But it is not woking when binding to property in the viewmodel directly.

Is there anything that still needs to be corrected?

The fix for the reported issue of ViewModel binding not works in labelstyle properties of DataLabel in SfPyramidChart has been included in our latest weekly Nuget release, version 26.2.8 which is available for download ( https://www.nuget.org/).

Root Cause:  Binding has not been set for the data labels and selection behavior in pyramid and funnel charts.
