SfTextInputLayout ShowHelperText empty space

Hi all,

I have a multilne HelperText, when I set ShowHelperText= false for SfTextInputLayout it still keeps space for  as the property is true.

can you check?

Hi Luca,

 

We have investigated your query based on your update. In Maui SfTextInputLayout, the "ShowHelperText" property is used to decide the visibility of the Helper text. You can use the "ReserveSpaceForAssistiveLabels" property, to manage the space for the assistive labels. We have prepared a sample demonstrating on how to achieve it. Please refer to the attached sample and below documentation link for more details.
