Validation on add task does not work on custom fields

I have added custom fields on gantt chart, wtih custom validation funtions. But on creating or editing, these functions does not trigger. I have marked them as required and when user creates new task, the field creates as empty

We have added custom validation for the TaskName column to limit the input less than 8 letters and set the required field as true as well. But unforunately, we could not be able to replicate the issue. Hence kindly share any of the following details to proceed further,

3. Simple issue replicable sample.
4. If possible, try replicating the issue from the shared sample.
