Graph Display Issue in .NET MAUI App on Samsung Devices

I was developing an app using .NET MAUI in Visual Studio and encountered an issue where the SfChart graphs don't appear on my Samsung device. Interestingly, this problem persists even after testing with the official Syncfusion MAUI app. It's worth noting that the system's light and dark modes are not related to this issue. Any suggestions for a solution?

Hi Gerson,

Upon further validation, we tested the Syncfusion MAUI app on a Samsung device with the model’s name "SM-E346B/DS" running Android version 14. We did not encounter any issues with the appearance of the charts in the app on this device.

To assist you better, could you please provide the specific model of the Samsung device and Nuget version on which you encountered the issue? This information will help us to identify and address the problem more effectively.

Regards,

Nanthini M.

Hello, good morning,

Thank you for your response. Here are the details of the tested devices:

- Product name: Galaxy S22+

- Model name: SM-S906E/DS (Android 14 API 34)

- Syncfusion version: 25.1.40

- Visual Studio 2022 version: 17.8.3

What's most intriguing is that the official application also exhibits the same errors, exactly as seen in the attached file in the original message.

I hope this information is helpful. If you need further details, feel free to ask.

Best regards

Hi Gerson,

Due to the unavailability of physical Samsung S22+ device for testing, we attempted to replicate the issue using the Samsung Galaxy S22+ emulator skin ( https://developer.samsung.com/galaxy-emulator-skin/guide.html  ) in our environment. However, we were unable to reproduce the reported problem on our end.

Output:

To further investigate and address the issue, we kindly request that you download and test a simple project containing Syncfusion .NET MAUI charts that we have attached in your physical device. Please let us know if the issue persists or not.

Your feedback will help us analyze the reasons more effectively and identify the root cause of the problem. This will enable us to provide a better solution to resolve the issue. Your cooperation in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Dhanaraj Rajendran.

Hi Gerson,

Thank you for your patience as we continue to investigate the reported issue. Despite our efforts, we've been unable to replicate the problem on our end, even after testing on the specified device configurations, including the Samsung S21 FE and Samsung Galaxy F34, both running Android 14 API 34.

While we suspect that the issue may be related to power saving mode, we've been unable to reproduce it consistently. As such, we're concluding our efforts to identify the root cause.

To further investigate and address the issue effectively, we'd like to arrange a meeting with you. During this meeting, we can discuss the problem in detail and examine the source code together to pinpoint the underlying issue in your device.

Could you please provide your availability for a meeting? Your input and collaboration will be invaluable in resolving this issue.
