Contextmenu in grid has scrolling enabled

Hi,

In version 24.1.41 the contextmenu in grids has got a scrolling feature.

Is it possible to turn this off?

Hi Joheno,

Greetings from Syncfusion.

We have provided scrolling support in context menu from our 23.2.6 version. In our previous versions we have faced flickering effect while opening context menu with huge number of items. This feature will help us to prevent the flickering effect when we have larger menu items.

So the context menu will enable scroll based on the menu items. Kindly get back to us if you face any difficulties with the above feature.

Yes it would be nice to have an option to turn off scrolling in the grids contextmenu.

If its not possible we just have to rearrange the menu with more submenues.

Sometimes the full menu is visible. Its seems a little bit random when scrolling and full meny is visible.

We have considered it as an usability improvement and logged a task “Provide Support for Prevent Scrolling in Context Menu”. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features and identify features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest. And this improvement will be included in any of our upcoming releases.
