Split tasks binding

In a Gantt chart control with split tasks, is there a way to have two-way binding of the split tasks? Once the template is loaded, the split tasks are created in the chart.

If I interactively change the duration of a split task or its start or end with the mouse, directly on the chart, the new data is not updated in the model.

Same thing if I change the model data, the chart is not updated.

We could not replicate the reported scenario from our end. We have prepared the sample with the given information and checked the sample from our side. Please refer to the tested sample in the attachment.

Hi SaiGanesh,

Thank for your answer. I modified MainWindow.xaml from your sample to add a panel to display StartDate and FinishDate of the SplitTask. When I move or resize one of the split tasks, these value aren't updated.

The purpose of my application is to divert the use of GanttControl. I want to allow the user to create and configure several SplitTasks from the chart. I then want to retrieve all the SplitTasks properties in a file (XML, text…) in order to transmit it to a PLC that will control actuators according to durations defined by these SplitTasks.

#Regarding Support for dynamic changes for Split task in the GanttControl

As of now, the GanttControl does not have support for the same. We plan to implement this feature in any of our upcoming releases. During the planning stage for each release cycle, we review all open features and identify implementations based on parameters such as product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest. Please upvote this feature to prioritize it.
