Grid With pageing but without count

Hey there, I am using Odata in my grid. 
For paging grid hasto know Total count and calculate page count etc. I understand this.

I am progfiling database . There is count queryies which slows down performance.

Are there such an option which doesnt show "Page count" - "record Count" etc but dows side of grid there will be only
"<<Previous", "Next>>"

I have tried vistualisation there is still "count queries".

Anyway maybe what i want is not a fancy idea. 

I just dont want double query(One for count , one for the real query) for performance.
When you have '&$count=true ' in query, odata multiplies database request. You can profile it.

We would like to clarify that it is not feasible to do without datasource count using the paging and virtualization features in the grid. This is the default behavior.
