Gridlines OVER swimlane

I know that gridlines are shown behind nodes & connectors but in the case of swimlanes, it would make sense to have an option to show the gridlines on top of the swimlane.

For a diagram using swimlanes, pretty much all of the objects will be on the swimlane so having the gridlines behind doesn't really help. And yet they are so useful it would be really nice to have them.

Alternatively, if a lane could have a transparent background then you would be able to see through to the gridlines behind (I tried this but no luck)

Ultimately it would be nice to be able to toggle this on/off as needed.

Is there any way to do this?

Hi,

Currently, we don’t have a support for rendering gridlines over swimlane. We will investigate the feasibility and provide you with a response within two days.

Reported Issue : Grid lines remain hidden when lane fill is set to transparent

  

We can reproduce the issue and confirmed this as a defect. We have logged a defect report for this issue. We will fix this issue and provide the patch on November 14,2023 weekly patch release.
