Are there any sample of adding KML support

Are there any samples of adding KML/KMZ image overlays, polygons or points to the sfmaps control?  I assume points can translate into Markers, I am not sure how image overlays or polygons would translate into the sfmaps object models and if

As per the current implementation, the .NET MAUI SfMaps control don’t have support to add KML files as overlays, polylines, or polygons.

I see the control supports ploygon shapes, I would just need to convert the  kml into the object model.   


It looks like markers are supported on a layer, but there is not a sublayer type that would support them, so I would need to move all points to the parent layer. 


 I guess I am wondering could an image overlay from a kml be converted to a shape file then supported by the control?

Hi Eric,

Regarding “markers not supported in sub layer”:

As per the current implementation, the .NET MAUI SfMaps control does not have support to add markers at the sub layer.

Regarding “kml be converted to shape file and supported”:

As mentioned earlier, the .NET MAUI SfMaps control don’t have support to add KML files or to convert the KML files to shape files and add as a source.
