Hi, when using the sfrating component i only get a rectangle box with the value displayed, i have looked in ThemeStudio and it is dispalyed like this in there too. I have added customstyle as per the guidance in Rating - Appearance and can get icons that way but still have the default rectangle textbox with the value showing.

Can you provide Material CSS to allow the visibilty of the stars rating as per the demo's?

We have created a Blazor app with the Syncfusion Blazor Rating component using the Material theme and the sample works fine without any issues on our end. We suspect that you may not have included the Syncfusion.Blazor.Themes NuGet package. Could you please check the below sample & UG documentation and get back to us if you faced any issues or need further assistance?

Query2: I have looked in ThemeStudio and it is displayed like this in there too

 

We have identified an issue with the Rating component in our Blazor Theme Studio. We will address and resolve this problem in our upcoming Volume 2 2023 release, and we will keep you updated.

Thanks, i have the Syncfusion.Blazor.Themes nuget installed but v 21.1.38. I was hoping to get the css like you would from theme studio as i use a customised theme. Is it possible to just supply the css for the component or is the blazor.themese nuget also required and to be updated?

Your requirement to customize our Rating component can be achievable by any of the following solutions:

#1 Customize using Web Compiler

You can customize our existing themes and bundle stylesheets in your application using npm blazor-themes package directly or by LibMan Library Manager. For more details, please check out the below UG documentation links.

#2 Using Theme Studio

You can customize and generate themes specifically for the selected (used) components. However, we are currently working on fixing an issue with the Rating component on the Blazor Theme Studio. As promised, we will update you once resolved in our LIVE theme studio.
