spacebands are not highlighted when highlight annotation is selected

Hi,

Please refer the attached video. Sometimes while selecting highlight annotation, individual words are selected. Even though it is a single highlight annotation, it shows like multiple highlight annotations. Even in downloaded PDF, the spacebands are not highlighted.

This issue occurs randomly. Not able to replicate every time.

We found in the video that you are replicating the issue and you have said that issue is occurring randomly.


We were able to highlight without any spaceband and we have attached image below.



We need the below details to analyze further on the issue.


  • Need the document in which you are replicating the issue.
  • Kindly update to the latest version(20.4.53) for both the client and server and check once the scenario
  • The exact scenario in which you are replicating the issue.


We have provided an Angular sample in the latest version. Kindly check the issue once in this sample and with your document and let us know if the issue is reproducing or not. A video capture from this sample will be helpful to investigate.

As I said the issue occurs randomly. As shown in the video, I have replicated the issue today in your demo site.

The online web demo sample gets updated only in volume and service pack release. So we suggest you to use our stackblitz sample which gets updated every week.


Could you kindly use our stackblitz sample and check whether the issue occurs randomly when you are using in the latest version.


We tried to replicate in the latest version by highlighting , underlining and strike through by Zooming In , Zooming Out and in print and download too, but we were unable to replicate the issue.

Kindly use the above sample in which we have provided the latest version 20.4.53 and get the issue resolved.
