Tapping on a chart repeatedly makes the trackball disappear instantly

I have a SfCartesianChart (ColumnSeries) with a trackball configured with a "hideDelay" of 5 seconds.

When dragging left and right, everything works fine.

But we have found that our users tap on the chart rather than dragging left and right.  The more they tap, the quicker the trackball disappears to the point where it will disappear instantly.

Is there a way to stop this happening?

We have analyzed your query and we have tried to reproduce the reported issue regarding trackball getting disappeared instantly when tapping repeatedly.  The reported issue is getting reproduced at our end. We have considered this as a bug, and it will be fixed and rolled out in our weekly patch release expected on 7th Dec 2021.

Thanks for the patience. The reported issue regarding trackball getting disappeared instantly when tapping repeatedly on chart has been fixed and rolled out in our weekly patch release. To resolve this, kindly upgrade the chart widget package to the latest version below.

Whilst there is definitely an improvement, this issue has not been fully resolved.

After tapping 8-10 times the original issue can be re-created.

Thanks for the information. We have analyzed your video and try to reproduce the reported issue regarding trackball tooltip getting disappeared when tap repeatedly. Unfortunately, the reported issue is not reproduced at our end, we suspect that you have cache issue in your project so that might refer previous version. We request you to ensure whether the chart is referring to the latest version (19.4.41) of chart, if not try deleting packages in .pubcache and run the sample. If the latest package is referred in your project, then kindly share your data with your code used to render chart widget, else try to replicate the scenario with the attached sample. This will be much useful in resolving your issues at earlier.
