Combo Box Empty Value on Data Grid Save

Hi,

I am using a Combo Box to create a new custom value in a Data Grid column.

I am successfully able to create a custom value. However, when I 'Save' in Data Grid, the custom value disappears from the new added record.

However, the custom value will appear when I refresh the page.

I have attached a video demonstrating the issue.


QUESTION:

How do I prevent the custom combo box value from disappearing after 'Saving' a new record in Data Grid?

Hi Kenney, 

Greetings from Syncfusion support. 

We have checked the provided code in the screenshot and we found that you have not set the ID for the combo box rendered in the edit template. So we suggest you to set the Field name as the ID for the combo box. Please refer the below screenshot and documentation for your reference. 


 

Incase if you are still facing any issues then kindly share us the below details, 

  1. Share us the Syncfusion NuGet version details,
  2. Share us the complete grid code with your model class(Grid and Foreignkey model class) and datasource.[Note: Share the codes in a file and not as a screenshot]
  3. Kindly share us the issue reproducing sample.
