Observe annotation collection changes or intercept redo/undo action

Hi! I'm working with the PDFviewer and showing a resume of the annotation of pdf in a custom panel outside of the pdfViewer component.

Happens that all works fine until we use ctrl+z or ctrl+y "undo and redo", the issue is that annotationRemoved is not being called (and i suposse that if we undo creation of shape, we need to trigger annotationRemove event).


So the question is: How i can observe changes in annotationCollection by redo/undo action? or how i can listen the change made by undo/redo

We were able to reproduce the reported issue “Annotation events are not triggered properly while performing redo/undo action” with the provided details. We will analyze further on this and update you with more details on August 27, 2021.

We have logged “Annotation events are not triggered while performing undo/redo action” is a defect report. The fix for this issue will be included on September 14th, 2021  weekly NuGet release. You can track the status of the issue from below feedback link.

Sorry for the inconvenience. The fix for the reported issue was not included in the latest weekly release. However, it will be included on upcoming weekly release September 28, 2021.

We have planned to provide event support to track undo/redo changes. It will be available in our volume 3 sp1 release which is schedule to release by the end of October, 2021.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We have considered this as a feature request. This feature implementation was not included in the latest release. We will include this feature implementation in our upcoming 2022 volume 1 release which is expected to be rolled out in the Mid of March.
