Smart Tag missing on .NET Core / .NET 5 for RibbonControlAdv

Hi,

I used to be able to see this:

When editing the ribbon control.

However, after updating to .NET 5, the arrow is gone and I cannot find it anywhere (including the context menu):

Other controls still work:

It's only the RibbonControlAdv that won't show its smart tags. It also won't let me switch tabs in Designer mode. Everything works fine on runtime

Hi Truth Seeker,

Greetings from Syncfusion.

We have analyzed your requirement that you does not got smart tag in our latest version for RibbonControl in .net 5.0". As this feature is not available in our product, we have already added it to our feature request list, but we don’t have any immediate plans to implement this feature. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features and included this in any of our upcoming release. We will let you know when this feature is implemented. The status of implementation can be tracked through our Features Management System.

You can also communicate with us regarding the open features any time using the “Contact” option.

Is there a workaround? How can I design the RibbonControl then?!

Hi Truth Seeker,

As already updated, we need to provide support for Smart tag for our Winform controls in Net core and .net 5 project. So we request you to add the required components to design the Ribbon control by manually or by using the right click on required component in designer and through properties window, you can design the RibbonControlAdv.

Please let us know if you have any other concerns.
