Dependency not added

19.1.0.54 (Volume 1 2021 - March 30, 2021)
VS2019 Community Edition

When I drag an instance of SfBusyIndicator onto the XAML editor, the Syncfusion dependency is no longer added to the project.

Have I missed something?

TIA
David McCallum

Hi David,

Greetings from Syncfusion.

We have analyzed your query. We have prepared sample in WPF. We dragged the SfBusyIndicator from the ToolBox and dropped it into designer. The dependency was correctly added, and SfBusyIndicator is working correctly.

Please have a video for your reference,

The following link explains how to configure the ToolBox

Hi David,

Thanks for the update.

We have checked with .Net 5 project and we would like to inform that busyindicator dependencies added correctly when dragged the SfBusyIndicator from the ToolBox and dropped it into designer. Please find the sample and video from below link.

My video show it not being added, and clues as to why not?

DM David McCallum May 4, 2021 02:00 PM UTC

Solved.

If you drag it onto the designer, the dependencies are added. If you drag it onto the XAML editor they are not.

Mea culpa

David.

Hi David,

Thanks for your patience.

We have analyzed the reported query. It seems like a default behavior of VS. Instead of dragging it to the Xaml editor, please drag it to Designer. We will send a question to MSDN about this.

Please let us know if you have any concerns.

Regards,
Suganya Sethuraman.
