Select child elements along with the parent

Is it possible to select the child items along with the parent when I select a parent item with checkbox selection?

Query: select the child items along with the parent when I select a parent 

 

We have checkbox column feature in which we can render checkbox in a column by setting showCheckbox property to true. Also we can select rows hierarchically using those checkboxes by setting autoCheckhierarchy to true.
