SfChat Text to html and iOS cut off issue

Question

Hello,



I have 2 problems that I need help with regarding the SfChat.





	
 How do I convert the text type of the messages to html?
	 My second issue is on iOS. The bottom half of some of my messages are being cut off. I will include a screenshot of the problem and of the xaml.

Hi David,

i) Regarding “How to convert text type to html format”

The SfChat supports allows to load custom messages by using MessageTemplate property. So, by using that property you can load Label with HTML format. For more details please refer to the below UG link.

ii) Regarding “Messages being cut off”

This is framework issue and the issue has been reported to Xamarin Team. Since it is also occurring in Xamarin forms listView. As of now we request you to use the Xamarin Forms 4.7 version. And we will let you know once we got proper solution from Xamarin team.
