Creating new Xamarin.Forms project using Syncfusion template throws exception
Hi all
When I try to create a new Xamarin.Forms project using the Syncfusion template an exception is thrown. "Error. An Exception has been thrown while Configuring the Project Configuration Wizard". This message pops up two times. Then the configuration wizard loads.
Within the Android section, the dropdown for minimum android version is empty.
I am on a brand new Windows 10 pro installation. Fresh Visual Studio 2017 installation with clean Syncfusion Xamarin installation, both toolboy and templates.
Screenshots attached. Any idea?
Additionally the Toolbox is not loading...

Hi Vanessa,
We have validated your query and considering this as a bug in our extension. We are getting exception while display Android API level list in Xamarin Project template Wizard due to Microsoft changed Android SDK installed location path VS2017 (15.7.4 and later) update version. So, we have logged an issue report for this, also we have created a separate support incident under your account to keep track of this issue.
Please log on to our support website to check for further updates.

Hi again...
1st time I found a bug...;-)
Meanwhile I found a solution to get it work for me. I found, that running the VisualStudio installer and change the installation... If you go to "Single Components" and scroll down to the very end you will find Syncfusion Xamarin Toolbox unchecked.
I checked it and after the istaller finished, it worked for me...

Hi,
I have read through your fixes as I am having issues with syncfusion xamarin 17.1.0.38 project template.I am getting an exception error on the configuration wizard. I tried both fixes but to no avail. I do not have the location .....Extensions\Xamarin\Project Templates\VS2017 , in the extensions folder i can only find Syncfusion Xamarin VSExtensions.vsix and VSIX Installer folder. Has the issue returned with the new update?
