Data Grid Columns selection

We are in process of Migrating Jquery Data Tables to Sync Fusion EJ2 Data Grid . We are mimicing the old features exactly with the Data Grid.

One of the feature available in DataTable is when sorting the columns, the entire column is selected during this process. I checked the Data Grid documentation and did not find anything related to Column selection.

Can you please let us know if there is anything in Data Grid to select the entire column ?

Greetings from Syncfusion support. 

Currently, we don’t have support for column selection in EJ2 Grid. We have considered this requirement as a feature task - “provide support for column Selection event in Grid”. At Syncfusion, we are committed to fixing all validated defects (subject to technical feasibility and Product Development Life Cycle ). We have planned to implement this and include this feature in any of our upcoming release.
