Use a button to navigate to an item in NavigationDrawer

Hello everyone,

I am working on an ASP.NET web form project which using a NavigationDrawer control, now I want to use a button (or linkbutton, or something else) to display the content which currently navigated by select an item in NavigationDrawer,
I've tried a few methods but they're not worked, please help me to solve this problem.

P/S: I'm using Syncfusion ASP.NET Web Forms (EJ1) version 18.3.0.35 on Visual Studio 2019 with .NET Framework 4.6, C#,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.  

Based on your update, we suspect that you need to render button or link button within Navigation Drawer Items. By default, items within navigation drawer has support to navigate to the content based on the Id mapped with rel='nofollow' href within items. Please refer to the below given demo link.  



Please confirm us whether you need to add button to Items or to the display content(right side) which is navigated on item click. Please share us the details on Is there any specific reason to use button within items  instead of existing options. This will help us to serve you better.

Please confirm us whether you need to add button to Items or to the display content(right side) which is navigated on item click. Please share us the details on Is there any specific reason to use button within items  instead of existing options. This will help us to serve you better.  
Yes, I want to display the sub-content by click to a LinkButton (or Button, etc), instead of click to a NavigationDrawer's item, for example

We have validated your requirement in EJ Navigation Drawer control. Currently, we have not provided support to render the custom component inside the Navigation list item. However, we will consider your requirement as feature from our end. This feature will be included in our anyone of upcoming volume release. 
 
Generally, we will plan the feature implementation based on feature rank, wishlist plan and customer request count for some feature.
