Hierarchy selection

I need to have a treegrid where the child records will get selected on selecting its parent row, either by clicking on the parent row or using checkboxes.

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion Support. 

Query#:- Child records needs to be selected on selecting its parent row, either by clicking on the parent row or using checkboxes 
 
To achieve this requirement, Syncfusion TreeGrid has default support for Checkbox column in which it is  possible to select the rows hierarchically using checkboxes in Tree Grid by enabling AutoCheckHierarchy property. When we check on any parent record checkbox then the child record checkboxes will get checked.

But we are facing some issues while on rendering CheckBox Column. We have logged the bug report for the same “CheckBox Column not working properly on rendering”. At Syncfusion we are committed to fixing all the validated defect (subject to technological feasibility and Product Development Life Cycle) and including its fix in our subsequent release. The fix for the issue will be included in our next week(October 21st) NuGet release. Until then we appreciate your patience.

From using Checkbox column, as like in the provided screenshot when we check on any parent record checkbox then the child record checkboxes will get checked. We can get the checked records using getCheckedRecords method. So share us the details about do you want to check only child records checkboxes(in Screenshot) or else need to select/highlight the entire childrecords? 

Based on your provided details, we will proceed further after patch release.
