Undocumented Breaking Changes in 18.3

Hi,
I have upgraded to 18.3 and gone through the release notes fixing any issues that are mentioned as Breaking Changes.
However, I have also come across other things that I deem to be breaking changes or issues that are not documented in the notes. Mostly, I think the documentation needs amending rather than bug fixes.
  • SfDropDownButton.Toggle – changed to void
  • SfSpinner.IsRendered – removed
  • SpinnerType moved from Syncfusion.Blazor.Popups.SpinnerType to Syncfusion.Blazor.Spinner
  • Documentation for SfSpinner is no longer listed in API documentation for its namespace: https://help.syncfusion.com/cr/blazor/Syncfusion.Blazor.Spinner.html
  • ISSUE - SfToast - Close button icon is now missing
This is mostly to inform you of what I found but also see if there is a known issue with SsToast's close button

Query 1: 
 
  • SfDropDownButton.Toggle – changed to void

We have now included the breaking changes in our release notes and it is refreshed in live link.

We are not clear with this query, can you share us few more details regarding the reported query ? 
 
We suspect the following with the reported query, 
 
  • Is the namespace SfSPinner not included  ?
  • Is the Spinner properties are not listed ?
 
Query 4: 
 
  • ISSUE - SfToast - Close button icon is now missing
 
We have tried to reproduce the reported issue with the SfToast an unfortunately we couldn’t find any issues with the close icon styles. We have also prepared a sample that tries to meet your requirements using the latest version 18.3.35. 
 
 


Since the reported issue occurs after the upgrade, we suspect the reported issue occurs due to the Nuget cache. Also, can you please try clearing the local Nuget cache and try it once from your end ? 
 
If you are still facing the reported issue, can you replicate the issue in the above sample and revert back to us. So that we can validate and provide solution at earliest.

Query 3: Documentation for SfSpinner is no longer listed in API documentation for its namespace:

We are not clear with this query, can you share us few more details regarding the reported query ?
That page lists all the classes within the Syncfusion.Blazor.Spinnernamespace. The SpinnerEventArgs, SpinnerEvents, SpinnerTemplates, SpinnerType are listed but there is no SfSpinner class listed. That is SfSpinner's namespace. However, I have just re-checked and there is something unusual with this class : I can have using SyncFusion.Blazor.Spinner and SfSpinner variable declaration is fine but if I start typing for variable declaration starting with Syncfusion.Blazor.Spinner, there is no intellisense for SfSpinner. If I type it completely manually, it is fine.

Query 4: ISSUE - SfToast - Close button icon is now missing
We have tried to reproduce the reported issue with the SfToast an unfortunately we couldn’t find any issues with the close icon styles. We have also prepared a sample that tries to meet your requirements using the latest version 18.3.35.
I have tried clearing the nuget cache but just having some general system issues at the moment. So when I am back up and running, I will try it again

Query 4: ISSUE - SfToast - Close button icon is now missing
I have tried your sample project and it works fine. I used the the CSS reference rel='nofollow' href from your project and the toast had the correct close button icon. However, my original material.css file was creating using Theme Studio as I need the colours to be different. I download new files from Theme Studio and the issue remains so it appears to be Theme Studio that has caused the problem. I have attached the downloaded Theme Studio zip file for reference.

Yes, we are able to reproduce the reported issue when using the styles from Theme studio. We are currently validating the reported issue and will update you with further details by 12th October.

i'd like to add another breaking change: in ListBoxEvents name for the event ValueChange has changed from "change" to "ValueChange".

I am having the same problem with the SfToast missing the "X" close button.
I tried using the latest Theme Studio and the issue persists.

We are checking on this issue with bootstrap styles and it will be resolved with our next weekly release refresh on Wednesday( 25/11/2020).  
 
Until then we suggest you to refer the styles from the Nuget package to resolve the reported issue. 
 
Add the Syncfusion bootstrap theme in the <head> element of the ~/Pages/_Host.html page.
