Rename Image on upload in RichTextEditor

Question

I would like to rename file on upload (add timestamp to filename) to avoid situation when user is trying to upload images with same name.

How can this be achieved?

Also how can new name be passed to API backend for saving image correctly?

We have validated your reported query. Yes, you can rename the images before adding it to the Rich Text Editor. Add the modified name to the headers from server side, and change the file name in the OnImageUploadSuccess event. We have also prepared a sample that tries to meet your requirements.
