dialog box, management of not working days in duration input

- when editing a task with the dialog box, is it possible to ignore weekends in the automatic calculation of the end date

here is the scenario:
- we choose a start date for example 8/21/2020, it falls on a Friday
- then, we modify the duration of the task, for example 4 days

normally the end date should be 08/26/2020 because we do not count the weekend
but in the current case he puts 8/24/2020 which implies that he has counted it with weekends

Hi Harifenitra,
Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.
We have analyzed your query. We can count the weekend days as working days by enabling the property includeWeekend as true. By setting this property, the startDate and endDate of the tasks will be calculated as you required. Please find the below code snippet,
app.component.html
<ejs-gantt id="ganttDefault" height="430px" [dataSource]="data"
[includeWeekend]="true" </ejs-gantt>

We have prepared a sample for your reference, in this sample includeWeekend property set as true and the date of the tasks in the Gantt will be calculated with considering the weekend days as the working days.
If the given solution met your exact requirement else, you need to include weekend count only on dialog editing?
Thanks,
Gopinath M
