Data not collapsing in TreeGrid

Using 

"@syncfusion/ej2-vue-grids": "^17.2.47",

"@syncfusion/ej2-vue-schedule": "^17.2.47",

"@syncfusion/ej2-vue-treegrid": "^17.2.47",

Trying to implement this example but can't get collapsing the data to work. Clicking on the caret icon on the row does nothing.

Would appreciate some guidance. Component attached.

EDIT: The getting started page also has this issue 

EDIT 2: I've followed the getting started guide from scratch and this issue is still present.

QUERY: Data not collapsing in TreeGrid 

We have validated your query. We are unable to reproduce the reported issue at our end in the specified version. But the reported issue reproduces in version 17.2.51. This issue has been fixed and the fix will be rolled out in Volume 3 Beta Release which is expected to be rolled out tomorrow.
