StatusStripEx SizingGrip empty space

Hello,

Please see attached code. I am using Syncfusion version 16.2

When I use StatusStripEx and hide SizingGrip, there is still empty space on the far right of StatusStripEx that is not occupied by ToolStripItems (also highlighted on picture issue.png in attached .zip file).

Is there a way to remove this empty space and make ToolStripItems occupy entire width of part to the right of separator?

Hi Rafal,

Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.

We are able to reproduce the reported issue, “Empty space is added in the SizingGrip location, even if the visibility is false in StatusStripEx control” in 16.2.0.46 and it has been fixed in 16.20.50. Due to patch server issue, currently we are not able to provide patch for this issue and we will update you the patch by April 3rd, 2019.

We appreciate your patience until then.

Regards,
Jagadeesan

Hi Rafal,

Thanks for your patience.

We have merged the fix for “Empty space is added in the SizingGrip location, even if the visibility is false in StatusStripEx control” issue in version 16.2.0.46 and the patch for this fix can be downloaded from the following location.

Recommended approach - exe will perform automatic configuration

Please find the patch setup from below location:
Advanced approach – use only if you have specific needs and can directly replace existing assemblies for your build environment
Please find the patch assemblies alone from below location:
This patch should replace the files "Syncfusion.Tools.Windows" under the following folder.

$system drive:\ Files\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\$Version # \precompiledassemblies\$Version#\4.6
Eg : $system drive:\Program Files\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\ 16.2.0.46\precompiledassemblies\ 16.2.0.46\4.6
To automatically run the Assembly Manager, please check the Run assembly manager checkbox option while installing the patch. If this option is unchecked, the patch will replace the assemblies in precompiled assemblies’ folder only. Then, you will have to manually copy and paste them to the preferred location or you will have to run the Syncfusion Assembly Manager application (available from the Syncfusion Dashboard, installed as a shortcut in the Application menu) to re-install assemblies.
Note :
To change how you receive bug fixes, ask your license management portal admin to change your project’s patch delivery mode.

Please note that we have created this patch for version 16.2.0.46 specifically to resolve the following issue reported in forum #143630
If you have received other patches for the same version for other products, please apply all patches in the order received.
Please let us know if you require further assistance.

Hello,

I have tried to use this patch, however project fails to rebuild. Visual Studio error message is:

Assembly 'Syncfusion.Tools.Windows' with identity 'Syncfusion.Tools.Windows, Version=16.2460.0.46, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=3d67ed1f87d44c89' uses 'Syncfusion.Shared.Base, Version=16.2460.0.46, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=3d67ed1f87d44c89' which has a higher version than referenced assembly 'Syncfusion.Shared.Base' with identity 'Syncfusion.Shared.Base, Version=16.2460.0.41, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=3d67ed1f87d44c89'

It seems that Syncfusion.Shared.Base.dll in version 16.2460.0.46 should be included in patch as well.
