sass error : file to import not found or unreadable

Goal 

I was trying to develop an app using ionic 3 , cordova 7 and angular.

What I was getting ?

I was getting error "sass error : File to import not found or unreadable , "(screenshot is attached here)

Why I am getting this error and how to resolve it?

Hi Swati,  

Based on the screenshot, it looks like the file you were trying to import was not available. So kindly check if you have referred to the correct file path and name.

     Thanks for your reply but i have resolved the issue by removing the unwanted whitespaces in the variables.scss file.
