Drag and Drop between two SfDataGrid

Hi there,

recently i have a problem with SfDataGrid drag and drop. I found a nice demo https://www.syncfusion.com/kb/4116/how-to-make-row-drag-and-drop-between-sfdatagrids. But if the drop target sfdatagrid has no item (for example UserDetails1 is empty in that demo),  it is not possible to drop an item into. Could you please help me, thanks!

We have checked the reported query “if the drop target sfdatagrid has no item (for example UserDetails1 is empty in that demo),  it is not possible to drop an item into” from our side. we are able to reproduce the reported scenario. We have forwarded it to development team. We will update you with the details in two business days (February 25, 2019).

We have confirmed that the reported query “if the drop target sfdatagrid has no items, it is not possible to drop an item into” is a bug from our end. And we will update you with the patch for this on March 12, 2019.

Thanks for your patience. 

We regret for the inconvenience. We have fixed the reported “if the drop target sfdatagrid has no items, it is not possible to drop an item into ” issue but we are facing failures in some cases during testing phase. We are currently working to resolve this issue without breaking any existing behaviors and the fix for the reported issue will be available in 2019 Volume 1 main release which will be expected to be rolled out at the end of March,2019.
