Instantiating a Pager with the second constructor parameter causes an error

If you attempt to supply the 'element' parameter to the Pager constructor - the component throws an error... 

This is due to the fact that the control is attempting to render *before* the _defaultConstants (L10n) variable has been set in the class

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support. 

We have confirmed “Script error thrown when passing selector as second argument for Pager constructor” as bug and logged defect report for the same. This fix will be available in the any of the upcoming releases. For now please use the appendTo method to initiate the Pager control.

Thanks for your patience. 
We are glad to announce that our Essential JavaScript 2 patch release (17.1.42) has been rolled out successfully and in that release, we have added the fix for an issue “Script error thrown when passing selector as second argument for Pager constructor”.
