exception while searching

Hello

I want to convert a default microsoft datagridview to your beautiful component sfdatagrid. 

Grid on top is the old microsft grid.

Lowest grid is the sfDataGrid with search possibility. see default search.png in attachment)

The search is a copy of the sample on your website and works just fine.

But when i search a couple of times the system creates an exception. see  other attachments detailException.txt, exception1.png.

Can somebody help me, how we can solve this issue?

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support. 

 

We were able to reproduce the reported scenario. It is the limitation of the StringFormat.SetMeasurableCharacterRanges method that we have used in our implementation. 

Exception will occur if more than 32 matches for the search text is available within a same cell.

The fix for this issue will be available in our volume 2, 2018  service pack release.
