Hi Kullboys,
Thanks for your interest in Essential JS 2.
Query 1: How about IE 9, is it supported as well?
No, the Essential JS 2 components can be supported with IE11+ web browsers and it will not support with IE 9 browser.
Query 2: Is it due to the Syncfusion EJ2 Component defect, or the demo app itself just can’t work in IE ?
No, it is not due to the EJ2 component’s defect. Our Essential JS 2 components can be supported with IE11+ web browsers only.
Query 3: And I just found that the demo for EJ1 for React, also require IE 10 and above, it sounds weird to me as the sample app require IE 10, while syncfusion claim that the EJ1 components could support IE 8 ++. The demo just doesn't prove what is claimed.
In EJ1 ReactJS demo samples, we are using “history” API to update the URL and navigate through the sample that is not supported in IE 9. Also, when URL is updated it makes a redirection and reloads the entire web page. EJ1 React controls will work in IE9 but only sample browser doesn’t work in it. Starting with React v15, react team discontinuing support for IE 8. So that we have displayed details on loading demos in IE 8 and IE 9
