Grid export

Hello,

1. I am trying to use grid exports, but I am gettings error message when I am trying to export grid to PDF where not all leters are in latin:


How can I avoid this error?

When exporting to Excel, there are no problems with this. When I am exporting grid to csv, there are also no errors, but data in file is not correct. I see not lating letters converted to some characters.

2. Also is there a possibility to export grid data to other formats then .xls, .pdf., csv. For example to export into .doc, .docx, .txt, .xlsx and etc.?

3. When I am exporting file, the exported file name always is Export.(sth). Can I change it to custom name?

Query #1: 

This is an already known issue and we have logged a feature task for ‘Support for true type font in PDF library’. This feature will be available in our next release.

Query #2:

By default Grid will export in to .xlsx format in Excel exporting. We have considered ‘Exporting Grid to .docx format’ as a feature request and logged a report for the same. This feature will be available in any of our upcoming release.

Query #3:

We have already logged ‘Change the name of the file before the save dialog appears’  as an improvement feature and it will be available in any of our upcoming release.

Hi AC, 

We would like to inform that the feature ‘Exporting Grid to .docx format’ will be available in our Essential Studio Volume 3, 2018 release and the feature ‘Change the name of the file before the save dialog appears’ will be available in our next patch release which will be rolled out by end of this week.

Hello,

now I am using version 16.2.49, but the problem with export into pdf (Query #1) still exists. When can I expect it to be working without mentioned problem?

Thanks for your update. This feature ‘Support for true type font in PDF library’ will be available in our Essential Studio Volume 3 Service pack 1 release.

when can I expect this issue to be solved? Now I am using version 17.1.48 but the problem still exists
