Customize theme colors

Hi,
I am using Google's Material theme and would like to change colors. 

I have found a related forum thread 136406on on how to do it, but it is related with JavaScript EJ2.
Does the same solution applies at my case?

Yes, we would like to let you know that the procedure for customizing material theme color in Essential JS 2 is same in all platforms.
