Countifs

Good day,

The gridcontrol formula engine does not appear to support the COUNTIFS formula. Is there any plan to implement this feature in the future? Is there any known workaround for this, such as a custom formula function?

We have considered your concern and logged a feature report to provide the COUNTIFS formula support for FormulaCells. The reported feature will be included in our main release of 2018_Volume2_SP1.

Thank you for the update! Is there a date set for when to expect the Volume 2 2018 release?

Also, I have found that the SUMIFS formula is listed as being supported in the documentation but it does not work. It only returns zero every time. I duplicated the same formula in excel on the same data to test it and it returns zero in the grid each time, but the real sum in excel.

Thanks for the update. 
 
We were able to reproduce the reported issue and logged a bug report for the issue. The fix for the issue will be included in our upcoming main release 2018_Volume2 which is tentatively planned to roll on May 21st. Moreover, our service pack release 2018_Volume2_SP1 is estimated to be avail at the end of June and the date for 2018_Volume2_SP1 will be planned after our 2018_Volume2 main release.

I just wanted to follow up on this to see if there is a date set for the next main update to roll out and if the CountIfs and SumIfs formulas have been fixed.

The date for our main release 2018_Volume2 is not yet decided at our end. However, it is estimated to be rolled in the middle of June 2018. Moreover, the date for 2018_Volume2_SP1 will be decided after the main release rolled out.

The reported issue “SUMIFS formula returns improper result in GridFormulaEngine” has been included in our Essential Studio 2018 Volume 2 Release v16.2.0.41 which is rolled out successfully and is available for download under the following link.

Hi,

Circling back around to this. I have noticed that SUMIFS does in fact work now following this release, however, COUNTIFS still does not work. It results with #NAME error in the cell.

Please assist.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. 
  
We have already fixed this issue which is available in our latest release 17.1.0.47. So, please upgrade to our latest version 17.1.0.47 to resolve this issue.
