Issues of DataForm-Preview

Hello,

currently I am testing the new DataForm and found the following issues:

Environment Culture: de-DE (!)

  • General:
  • The property "ResourceType" on the DisplayAttribute is missing.
  • IPropertyValueConverter is missing in the base libary.
  • DisplayFormatAttribute does not work. (Or it does not automatically sends the format to the corresponding editor) - tested with Time
  • Android
  • The TimePicker of DataForm opens with 12H format. The normal Xamarin-TimePicker opens with 24H format.
  • UWP
  • The icons are shown up inside the editor controls, not at the left side. (on LabelPosition.Left)

Maybe this points can be fixed in the next patch?

Regards, Sebastian

We have checked your query and we are not able to reproduce the issue i.e, “Label Icons are shown up inside the editor controls in a single row”.

Could you please provide Device configuration and Element arrangement with SfDataForm in a Page/Application. It will be helpful to provide better solution.

Regards,
Srinivasan

SfDataForm don’t provide support in DisplayFormatAttribute in sample level.
We are using DisplayFormatAttribute class for our internal purpose only. We will mark this Attribute as internal in our 2018 Vol1 SP1 release.

Hi Sebestian,

The fix for the issue with TimePicker format is not based on device format in Android and IPropertyValueConverter support in Xamarin.Forms platform also included in our Essential Studio Volume 2, 2018 (Version 16.2.0.41) release.

Please refer the below link for code example for IPropertyValueConverter
