Hi,

I would like to know how to add a Fibonacci indicators (Retracement, Arcs and Fans) to sfchart control? Could you give me some samples shows how to take the points of mouse clicks from chart as start and end point of them?

Thanks

Hi Ray,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion Support.

We don’t have built-in support to add the Fibonacci indicators to chart. However, we have achieved this requirement using workaround by calculating the points manually and rendering the lines using annotation feature. If this meets your requirement, we will provide you the sample for other two types i.e. arcs and fans.

Please find the reference output screenshot below,

You can download the reference sample from below link. In this sample, you can drag the start and end lines to change its position.

You can refer our UG Documentation link to know more about annotations in SfChart,

Hi,

Thank you very much for your sample. It is what I need. BTW, how to implement the serialization and deserialization if binding the sfchart.annotations to AnnotationCollection in viewmodel?

Hi Ray,

The serialized string is not properly deserialized if we use the annotation binding in application, however the annotation can be added manually in code behind and it is working properly when deserialized. We will check the annotation binding issue at our end and will let you know if there is anything need to be fixed internally. Please download the reference sample from below location.

Please let us know if you have any concerns.
