Project migration tools not working

I need to migrate my UWP project to the latest Syncfusion assemblies. I tried using the Project Migration tools but it does nothing at all to the projects I select. They are still referencing the same older assembly versions. I can do it by hand, but it would be nice to be able to use this tool to do the job.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

Currently, we are providing the Project Migration support for UWP platforms using SDK reference alone. If you migrate the UWP project with the Syncfusion SDK reference, UWP projects will be migrated successfully using the Syncfusion Project Migration utility.

 

If you refer the Syncfusion UWP assemblies in your projects, Project Migration tool will not migrate the projects. We’ll consider this as the future enhancement and provide the Project Migration support for migrating the UWP assemblies also in our upcoming releases.
