Excel Protection

Question

Hi,Iam Developing an Applictaion in that iam opening an exisisting excel sheet and protecting that excel with a password and saving the document into a different location and after that when iam opening that document the data is in html format means(Name) how to overcome this problem please help me out.Thanks In Advance,Attachment: Program_7fbfc51.zip

This looks like an usage level issue. The code you have shared should save an Excel document with the extension *.XLS. If the file name and the extension is correct and if the icon is similar to HTML files, then your default application for opening Excel document must be modified locally. Please check and change the application to MS Excel. 
  
If the issue still persist, kindly send us the generated document to investigate further. We have also shared a sample to test the behavior in your machine, which can be downloaded from the following link. Kindly check this and let us know if the sample works proper at your end. If no, please take a video screenshot and send us with valid input or output files to investigate further.
