Custom View Item

Hello, 

Could you provide us sample for Custom View Item as on the page https://help.syncfusion.com/xamarin/sfpicker/populatingitems#adding-custom-view-items.

I tried to implement it with this custom layout, in zip file, the result is not really good for performences and I don't see images. I don't see the selected item neither.

We have checked the reported issue "Unable to see images in Custom View Item". In iOS and UWP given custom image view appear properly. We have also attached the SfPicker sample for your reference. Please find the sample from the below link.

We were able to reproduce the reported issue in Android. We have already fixed the reported issue in Android. The fix will be available our upcoming Vol 4 SP1 release.

We will let you know once our Vol 4 SP1 has been rolled out.

Indeed the bug occurs on android.

Do you also reproduce the performance issue with custom layout and image in Picker on android?

Do you know when the Vol 4 SP1 will be available?

We are able to reproduce the reported issue in android.

Has Vol 4 SP1 been released?  I'm running the latest (15.4.0.20) and i'm still seeing the issue.  Images are randomly disappearing and appearing as I scroll.

For me on Samsung GS5, android 6.0.1 and syncfusion picker 15.4.0.20, image now displays correctly. But there are still issues, the performances are bad when scrolling and I don't know how highlight the current custom selected item. Is there possible to implement custom selected item highliting like you did on not custom picker?

Currently we are facing rendering issues in applying the custom image view for Android SfPicker and it is getting rendered in some device only. For this we have logged bug report and we are revamping the source architecture to support image and fix will be available our upcoming Volume 1 release. Which will be rolled out by the mid of February, 2018. 

  

We don’t have support for SelectedItem View and it is needed to handle the view in sample using the Selectionchanged event. We have also prepared sample for "Highlighting the custom view for SfPicker". Please find the sample from the below link.
