Override TabItemExt Header Template

I need to override  TabItemExt header template similar to metro theme TabItemExt header. Unfortunately I cann't use Metro theme as I have my own theme. How can I override the default TabItemExt header?

To change the TabItemExt style to Metro look, you can customize the TabItemExt style of TabControlExt. We have prepared sample for the same in which we have customized the Border of TabItemExt Header.
