Avoid Hyperlinks in TextBox

When adding a web address in a TextBox (or any text that begins with https:*), the text turns blue and underlined, and the cursor turns to a pointer. Is there a way to disable this?

I found one way to do this is to use CellType "OriginalTextBox" instead of "TextBox."

Hi Eric,

Thanks for using Syncfusion products.

We have analyzed your scenario. The TextBox cell type of GridControl does not have the support to detect urls as per your scenario. So, the urls will be added as normal text. We suspect that you are using RichTextBox cell type and it has the support to detect the urls. We really regret to let you know that the GridRichText cell does not have the support or any extensibility to disable the default behavior to detect the hyperlinks.

Please provide us with the simple screenshot of your scenario and any customization regarding grid cell type. It would be more helpful for us to analyze further and provide the solution at the earliest.

Please let us know if we misunderstood anything from your requirement.

Regards,
