sfAutocomplete from remote data

Good morning, could you give me an example of how to use sfAutocomplete from remote data, for example data that comes from an api I would appreciate it very much

Thank you very much for your time and response, you are as kind as ever, I surely do not express the question correctly, I try to pull the records of a remote api while the user is writing in the box the records are not local to us. thank you very much again
