How to draw template on PdfLoadedDocument

I am trying to create a layer on an existing pdf, and on that layer draw the content of another pdf by using pdftemplate functionality.

However, the text included on the other pdf seems not to be drawn on the layer.

My functionality is based on this: https://help.syncfusion.com/file-formats/pdf/working-with-pdf-templates#creating-document-overlays

however, drawing directly to the pdfloadeddocument on a new layer, as described here: https://help.syncfusion.com/file-formats/pdf/working-with-layers#adding-layers-in-a-pdf-document

Any pointers? is it a bug?

We have tried to reproduce the issue which you have mentioned using the sample attached below, but the issue is not reproduced. Can you please try using this sample and let us know if there is a change in code snippet which you are using.

Your example works with the supplied PDF's.

Please try to put attached "overlay-sample.pdf" as your loadeddocument2.

Does not work at all on my setup.
