Hierarchical content in SfListView and SfDataGrid

Hi.

This is serious issue with list view and data grid work with hierarchical data(content). Is it possible? And if isn't, will this opportunity ever appear?

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

Query regarding SfDataGrid:

We regret inform you that currently we do not have support for Hierarchical data (Multilevel SfDataGrid). Already we have added this in our feature request list (tentatively) and this feature will be available any of our upcoming volume release. We will update you once this feature rolled out. We appreciate your patience until then.

Query regarding SfListVew:

You can arrange the list view items in hierarchical structure with Grouping feature by customizing the GroupHeaderTemplate property and by adding the multiple GroupDescriptor objects into the GroupDescriptors collection. Please refer the following UG documentation link for more reference about multi-level grouping in SfListView.

If above solution doesn’t satisfies your requirement, could you please share some more details about your requirement which will help us to provide appropriate solution?

Regards,
Ashok

Hi Derek,

Thank you for the update.

We have already provided “Grouping support in DataGrid” Xamarin.Forms, when grouping the data is organized into hierarchical structure based on the matching field values. You can refer our user guide documentation regarding the grouping feature by the following link,
