Port to .Net Core

Hi,

Is there an initiatiave to port the Report Server and Dashoard Platform to .Net Core and run on Linix., OSx and Windows OS?  Thank you.

Currently, we do not have support to deploy report server and dashboard server on a Linux machine. The supporting Operating System could be found from the location below,

We have plans to include this feature and we have created a support incident under your account to track the status of this feature.

Hi,

Do you have any timelines for the porting of reporting platform to .Net Core? Currently, our application is completely deployed in Linux platform and if we need to go with this reporting platform, we may need to purchase a Windows server. So any input on the probable date for the porting will help us to decide the reporting platform to be used in our product.

No, timeline for this feature is uncertain. We had logged this as a feature request in our database and implement this feature in any of our upcoming releases.  The feature implementation would also greatly depend on the factors such as product design, code compatibility and complexity.
