Is it possible to control the drag granularity of a task?  We want to be only able to drag to a specific day, not a specific time on a day.

Hi Eric,
Thanks for contacting Syncfusion Support.
We have achieved your requirement in the sample level by using NodeDragCompleted event in GanttControl. Please find the demo sample from the following link.

Is there anyway to have the display only show the dates when the dragging is happening?

Hi Eric,
Thanks for the update.
As of now, highlighting specific dates while dragging is not possible. We can highlight the non-working days by customizing the calendar options in the GanttControl. Please refer the below documentation link for more information
