Install Dashboard Server as an Application on Existing Website

Hello,

I have the need to install the Dashboard Server along side other web applications on the same server. We only allow internal traffic to this server on port 80/443 and as such i need to install the Dashboard Server on the already existing website as an Application.

I have not yet found anything that outlines this process. 

We have tried configuring it by manually creating the web applications using the same source directories as the install did on the separate website. But this results in errors.

Any suggestions and/or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
