Open QuickWindow on Double Click

Hey Currently the quickwindow opens on a single click.
We are trying to change it to a double click. And then have the Edit button be opening the "appointment window"(which is what is usually opened on a double click).

I could probably change it by changing the source code but wondering if there is a way to do it without changing the source code?

By default, there is no option to achieve your requirement without modifying the source. Therefore, kindly proceed with your solution.
